A Very Vintage Park!

Photobucket
Can you believe how cute this plane is? I mean...the pilot is pretty handsome but I just can't get over that plane. Matt's company picnic was on Sunday at Knoebel's Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. There's a small town feel to this adorable park. It has free admission and you pay in tickets for what you want to go on. It has amazing food and the entire park is very reasonable price wise.

Here are a few more....

This cracked me up! This was Colin's first time riding go carts and needless to say, he loved it! He went three times, lol!

And I did promise that I would share another LO. This one is Colin's little girlfriend from preschool. He really does like her and starts to blush whenever he talks about her. I didn't realize that this started already, lol! I wanted to make sure that I documented since this has been a pretty steady relationship :-)

(And yes I spelled "merry" that way on purpose. That's what it sounds like when he says it out loud and it makes me smile.)

That's it for now...I'm off to finish a few more projects!

Quick Post!

And then I'm off to the pool!

Photobucket
I just discovered Maya Mists and Basic Grey's half pearls.

All I can say is...oh my gosh!

And here's a photo of the back. I couldn't bear to part with this Collage Press paper so I cut out the center before adhering it as my border. Graph paper is just to awesome to waste and I keep every last scrap of it. It's perfect to stamp on or to add a little punch of color to a LO. I always place tape over any stitching in the back to protect it from getting caught on anything else. I got this border tape from the Scarlet Lime in a kit and there is just so much of it that I would never use all of it on LO's. This is a perfect solution!

Here's hoping that you get to enjoy being outside today. I'll be back with more LO's when I finish editing them!

I'm Back....

And I'm finishing this LO as we speak. As soon as the sun comes up....okay a little, I mean a lot later than that...I will take photos and share.
I have to say, tonight was pretty productive. The one benefit to the weird way I start 10 LO's and not finish them is that when I do finish them....I have a BUNCH to share. I think I should have about 6 all together.
I think at least two of these will get posted tomorrow!

Hope everyone gets a chance to do something super fun tomorrow!

So What Did I Do?

With my work at home day??? Well, the day started out like any other, I forgot something at home and needed to go home to get it. This time it was a cupcake for Colin for a birthday party at school. I forgot to bring one even though the Mom reminded me on Saturday that she was bringing them in. *sigh*

So I ran home, defrosted the cupcake and added frosting and sprinkles. (Gotta love make ahead and freeze recipes). On my way back to preschool, I called one of my best friends that I grew up with. Just out of the blue to say hi. I figured he would be at work or super busy with last minute wedding details so I was planning on leaving a message. He picks up and turns out he just had surgery on Saturday. So after dropping off the cupcake to an ever so patiently waiting toddler, I then headed to the hospital for a visit.

I then finished up some paperwork and stopped by work to drop it off. You know, since I was right there. I then proceeded to run errands and finish the day up by going to the grocery store. NOT my favorite thing to do by a long shot, lol!

So no scrapping for me on Monday and the rest of the week has been a bust as well. So to make up for it, I am treating myself to a midnight crop at Times to Remember tonight! I am planning on finishing every LO that I have started in the past few weeks and even though some I plan on submitting, I will save a few to share here.

That's it for an update right now but I will post some photos soon of what I am working on!

If you haven't checked it out yet head on over to the Collage Press Blog, to participate in a fun challenge. The challenge also includes a chance to win an awesome paper pack! Good Luck and I hope everyone gets a chance to play along!

Work at Home Day...

I'm trying to decide how to spend my time tomorrow.
Part of me wants to keep Colin home from school and spend the day at Hershey Park.
Part of me wants to scrapbook all day and just have some me time.
Most of me wants to organize the closets, put away laundry, and run errands.
I have a feeling that most of me will win so I will try to scrap now to compensate!

New Collage Press!

Here's my LO for this month's DT day on the Collage Press Blog.
I'll be honest when I say that I am having an absolute blast creating DT stuff. I've noticed an interesting trend, for myself at least, when creating with my Collage Press stash.
I am more inclined to use what I have and use it creatively.
I'm not as concerned about cutting my favorite paper since I have two sheets of it, and I'm willing to try something different with a die cut because if it doesn't work, I'll try something else.
It's weird, it's been very freeing.
I am extremely appreciative of this opportunity and am thrilled that I get to share how much I love their products with all of you!
So if you haven't had a chance to head over to the blog don't forget to leave a comment to be entered to win an awesome prize pack.

Life has been a bit insane as we transition back to reality.
Colin had a sleep study last Tuesday. He was a champ throughout the whole thing. He was very brave.
Even though he was great, it's not on my list of things that I would like to do again in the future. So if we don't get a ton a decent info from this study, I doubt that we will do it again.

We also had a great experience at a local farm for a birthday party this weekend.
Colin fed a cow, milked a goat and was chased by wild turkeys. Fun was had by all and this was a super neat idea for a birthday party.

I did finish editing all of my Disney photos so I will share those soon with a recap.

That's it for now and good luck with the giveaway!

July Creating Keepsakes

So did anyone checkout page 72 in this month's issue of CK?

That is yours truly and my little guy in a publication that you can find in the grocery store. Colin wasn't too impressed when it came in the mail. I doubt he will be too impressed when I take him to the store to hold it while I take a photo. Which I will do by the way.

It also made the sketch section which I thought was pretty cool.

Just a quick post today since I am getting our bags packed to take Colin for a sleep study tonight. He has bizarre sleep habits to say the least and while I'm not super optimistic that this will give us a ton of answers, at least we can hopefully rule a few things out. So think of me tonight when I laying next to a little boy hooked up to monitors when I could be scrapbooking.

Here are a few more photos from our trip.

Photobucket
Colin woke up this morning...after getting up to turn the lights off in all of the rooms upstairs and then going back to bed...and said, "I wish we could live on the cruise ship."

Photobucket
I have to give props to my husband for taking this shot. I think he captured Colin and his grandparents perfectly! They definitely had a blast together the whole trip.

Oh how I missed you sweet internet!

Actually probably not as much as I thought I would, but I am glad that I am back online and starting to get back in the grove. Just a quick post since I am getting ready for my first day back to work.
We had a great time and I plan on doing a review here so anyone who is thinking about taking a Disney Cruise can possibly be a little more prepared than I was. Until then, I have been working on editing some photos. About 200 to be exact and I am more than halfway finished. I am actually going to order them, hopefully today, and then put them in a photo album. There's no way that I will scrap all of them so I will reprint the ones that I want to scrap at home, (in the sizes that I want), later. But for now, everyone will get to enjoy them the old fashioned way.
Did anyone get the invite to the Kodak Pro Site. It's "invitation only" but I'm not exactly sure why I would get an invite. Maybe they targeted a scrapbook list? So if anyone else has tried it, let me know. I'm thinking that I may use the coupon code for this order.

Here's my little man on the beach. He was a fan, me...not so much. Don't get me wrong, they were beautiful but I still don't like sand.

Photobucket
This was the marine park where we had our dolphin discovery experience. It was breathtaking. Even the bathrooms made you feel like you were in a five star resort. This is something that I would do again even if it was just to hang out in the pool and on the beach.
That's it for now. I have a ton of scrappy shares to photograph and Collage Press will be having their next design team day on the 15th. You do not want to miss it!
